Cotton is pure and grown naturally. It doesn’t contain any chemicals and it’s hypoallergenic, meaning it doesn’t irritate sensitive skin or cause allergies or asthma.
Our cotton is free from formaldehyde and toxic residues as the cotton and our manufacturers comply with the Oeko-tex 100 standard.
Cotton is very soft, which is why it is the perfect choice to sit next to your child’s skin. The ends of cotton fibres are spun very tightly into the yarn so that the fabric doesn’t scratch or cause static electricity.
Cotton is long lasting if well looked after.
Cotton retains colour dyes extremely well.
Cotton breathes, so it is cool for your child to wear and does not retain body odours and trap bacteria. It is also a good conductor of heat, actually drawing heat away from the skin.
Cotton absorbs moisture easily, taking up to one fifth of it’s weight in water before it actually feels damp.
